SOS Study = Knowledge = Money

Someone ask me, does studying hard, gaining knowledge equates to making more money? Based on the surface meaning, it sound logic.  But is it really true, more knowledge equal to more money? The short answer is depends from which perspective do you view this issue from.

TODAY'S SOCIETY PERSPECTIVE

OK, lets look at it from statistics points of view.  Those who good in academic, will go to the big league universities, will eventually landed with a good job, with a good company with good money.  So, based on this chain of progression, it is partly true, studying hard, getting into top universities, highly likely will end up with good money job.  So, in conclusion it is not incorrect.

So how do we argue this other wise.  There are some people who study very hard, but end up with a poor paying job.  Most businessman, who doesn't study very hard, but makes lots of money.  So from this aspect, you can say it does not correlate.  But then again, we can also safely said most study well, goes to good school, will generally end up with good job.  So, we cannot dispute that.  So the correlation is not 100% true, but more than 50% true.

From a broader perspective, we cannot really equate study hard with good result equal to good school and eventually equal to good job and good money.  There are more to it, knowledge is suppose to lead the development in the respective country from poor to rich, but also maintain civilization and morality of the people.  Without which, what you want a society of rich people, but, have no regards to morality and virtues, which eventually will be stressful and chaotic.

Of course, in a materialistic world, MONEY or whoever has the a lot of MONEY, people will give him or her more respect.  So, in the current society, the measurement of SUCCESS is MONEY, period.  No point debating on this issue.  In ancient time, teacher is one of the most respected profession.  Today, because, teacher does not makes a lot of money, it is not a respected profession anymore.  The most respected profession today is actually bankers or investment bankers, they make the most money, so there are the most respect profession.  If we don't conform with the NORM, we are consider an outcast.  Not many parents want their kids to be a teacher, literally with the MONEY, you cannot survive well.  OK, of course, besides eventually study will enhance knowledge will lead us to a good job, but there are more to Knowledge right.  But then again, if the knowledge do not translate into MONEY, it remain knowledge, which based on today's society measurement, it doesn't mean much, far from being successful.  So what is the bottom line here.  It it really mean, knowledge = money, and that's it.

ANCIENT SOCIETY'S PERSPECTIVE

Ok, bringing back this concept to the ancient time, say a few thousand years ago, where morality is still good, you are said to have a poor enlightenment quality if you equates knowledge to making MONEY.  Ancient people are generally more spiritual and morally better than today's society, they value virtues, good manners, respect of parents or elderly,  etc.  The teacher profession in fact the most highly respected.

ANCIENT SOCIETY vs TODAY SOCIETY

So, the difference is actually can be seen by the morality factor.  Ancient society value more on virtues, morality and mannerism while today's society, well, basically value more on money.  So that statement on study equates to knowledge equates to money is mainly true in today's society.   But if we look at it from a broader point of view, children goes to school not only to study and obtain knowledge, actually the value of EDUCATION has been taken out of the equation.  School is suppose to educate children in all aspects, from morality to academic.  Hence, the emphasis has changed drastically over the years.  I will elaborate further from another's perspective, in Part 2 later.

SOS morality

This are what science and technology cannot measure with their latest instruments:

  1. virtues
  2. karma or sins
  3. morality
  4. humanity
  5. compassion
  6. truth
  7. tolerance
  8. sentimentality
  9. predestined relationship
  10. all intangible things which exist
Comparing with the UFOs that flying in and out of the space from one dimension to another at a speed of light, our science and technology is rather undeveloped.

Until it is able to change their conventional thinking, the truth of the universe will remain.

SOS Sensitive topic....... Religion

Religion as defined by Wikipedia, is an organised collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to the supernatural, and to spirituality.  Many religions may have organized behaviours, clergy, a definition of what constitutes adherence or membership, holy places and scriptures.  The practice of a religion many also includes rituals, sermons, commemoration or veneration of a diety, gods or goddesses, sacrifices, festivals, or other aspects of human culture.

It is a long definition, but one important aspects not mentioned is that religion was formed by human. Commonly, it involved membership, holy place and scriptures, and has its only formality or ritual.

OK, lets us not debate on the definition, but rather discuss on the substance.

There was once, a Christian asked me the following questions about my belief:

1. What is your belief based on?
2. Why do you choose this belief?
3. How certain are you that this belief is the correct one?
4. Would you waver in your belief is you are faced with life and death situation?
5. Do you believe in afterlife?

The short version answer to the above questions is (I choose to practice Falun Dafa), is that it improve my mental, physical and spiritual aspect of my life and provide me to all my questions about origin of life, space-time, humanity and the universe.  As for the remaining questions on what is it based upon, why you choose that belief, certainty, and facing life and death situation, my simple answer would be, it depends on you enlightenment quality, inborn quality, predestined relationship and how steadfast are you in that belief and a few other factors.

I will not comment further as you may be already confuse with all these terms you many not heard of.  Let just say, the reason I practice Falun Dafa (www.falundafa.org) because it can provide me with all the answers I am looking for about humanity, origin of life, dimensions, and the universe and expound all the principles behind them.

I am not doubting that other "religions" ability to provide all the answers, but, I did say, it also involved predestined relationship and other factors.
